Sylvia Lin exhibited in the show from the 1970s until 2010. She won the Horticultural Sweepstakes 11 times, along with numerous other show awards and countless blue ribbons. Known as the show's "begonia queen," she grew and groomed her plants to perfection. She is shown here in a 1985 show at the Civic Center, preparing to water her entries.
